WHO IS ANDRES DELGADO?
Andrés "Beto" Delgado is a prominent figure in the Colombian music scene, standing out both as a virtuoso guitarist and as a builder of high-quality amplification equipment.
From an early age, he showed a deep interest in music, beginning his musical career playing drums at his neighborhood church, influenced by rock rhythms.
At 14 years, he switched from drums to guitar, teaching himself.
His passion for the sound of the electric guitar led him to an interest in tube amplifiers, especially classic Fenders from the 50s and 60s.
In the late 90s, his musical career expanded when he won two competitions for best rock guitarist on one of Colombia's most important radio stations. This led him to become a session musician, working with various artists and musical projects.
Andrés "Beto" Delgado is considered one of Colombia's finest guitarists, renowned for his technical skill, versatility, and passion for sound.
His fascination with tube amplifiers and the difficulty in finding high-quality equipment in Colombia led him to build his own amplifiers.

Magma Audio was founded in 2007 in Bogotá, Colombia. Its founder, Andrés Delgado, is a music and electronics enthusiast who has always been fascinated by the sound of guitar amplifiers.
In his early years, Andrés began designing and building his own amplifiers from a small workshop in his home. His goal was to create amplifiers that had a unique, high-quality sound, but were also affordable for local musicians.
Growth and Expansion:
As Magma Audio popularity grew, Andrés decided to expand his business.
Today, Magma Amps offers a variety of products for the professional guitarist, from amplifiers, pedals, cabs, pickups, each model designed to offer a tone for musicians with selective ears.
